The remaining 25% is used to maintain and upgrade the website. When framed or unframed prints are purchased, the artist receives 75% of the PDF print’s price. The remainder is used for printing and framing, as well as maintaining the website. In both instance, the artist receives the money needed to continue creating original artwork at a significantly higher rate than other galleries pay.
